How does fraud detection work?
The system is based on processes that automatically identify fraudulent activities. These processes are based on multiple tools; one example would be profile authentication, which allows you to verify the identity of customers visiting your online store.
What kind of data is used to prove that fraudulent activity is present?

To detect fraudulent behavior, we screen orders received by an e-commerce platform by using cutting-edge technology based on artificial intelligence. This technology analyzes and verifies user information from multiple data points, such as email address, IP location, issuing bank information, user online behavior information, and blacklisting or whitelisting databases among others.

Can you detect fraudulent activity internationally?
Yes. Despite the fact our solution is mainly geared towards helping e-commerce in Latin America, we are also able to detect fraud and suspicious behavior coming from users outside of the region.

Is it easy to integrate Critical.net with e-commerce platforms?
It’s very simple. Our extensions integrate effortlessly with the most popular e-commerce platforms in Latin America. Installation takes a few steps, you’ll be done in just a few minutes. How much does the service cost?

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can subscribe for a monthly payment by debit or credit card (we accept Visa, American Express, and MasterCard) and through PayPal or Stripe.

Is it a monthly or yearly subscription?

Critical.net offers only monthly subscriptions for now.

How are payments credited?

The Critical.net subscription works through automatic monthly charges, ensuring your service is active every day of the year.

Can I subscribe to several plans within the same account?

At the moment, you can only subscribe to one plan per account. You can choose between the available plan options:

  • Economy
  • Entrepreneur
  • Commercial
  • Enterprise
  • Collaborative
However, if you are not satisfied with your first choice, you can easily switch plans afterwards.
How can I upgrade my plan?

You can view the available plans here. To update your plan, click on the one that interests you the most and follow the instructions you’ll be given.

How can I reduce my plan?

If you would like to reduce your plan, write to us at info@critical.net. Please keep in mind that the plan reduction will not take effect immediately, but will occur when the current plan expires. The new plan will be activated on the regular renewal date of your old plan.

Does the plan renew automatically?

Yes, the plan is automatically renewed when it expires. This is the system’s default setting and cannot be disabled.

When exactly does my plan automatically renew?

Automatic renewal will be activated one day before the expiration date, between 01:00 and 02:00 (GMT -6).

Can I cancel my subscription plan?

Yes, you may cancel at any time. 

Are my unused credits refunded?

If you cancel your plan, keep in mind that any unused credits will not be refunded.
